The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to join our team in [Location]. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects from concept to implementation. Your expertise will encompass project engineering, procurement specifications, vendor document reviews, construction support, and commissioning of systems.

You will work closely with highly collaborative teams to ensure projects are completed within schedules and budgets, and to high-quality standards. Your broad knowledge and experience will be applied to various tasks within the discipline.

  • Project Engineering: Conduct feasibility studies, design development, and construction support for industrial plants.
  • Team Leadership: Lead electrical or multi-disciplined teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Electrical Design: Contribute to electrical engineering and design for industrial plants and process projects, including power distribution, motor control centers, and instrumentation specification and design.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality and approval of engineering drawings and documentation.

What You'll Bring to the Team

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered or eligible for P.Eng registration in the province of British Columbia (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial design, plant, and/or construction environments.
  • Proficiency in engineering software applications such as AutoCAD, Easy Power, and/or ETAP.
  • Broad knowledge of all electrical and controls design areas, including substations, utility interfaces, power distribution, system studies, and process control systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and interface with clients in a multi-disciplined environment.
