Become an integral part of our culinary team as an Executive Chef - Culinary Lead at Baymont by Wyndham. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to lead our kitchen operations, oversee menu development, and train staff in food preparation and handling.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for cooking, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. As an Executive Chef - Culinary Lead, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all food served meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Develop and implement new menu items, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage ordering supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Degree in culinary arts or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
