Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining web and mobile applications. You will work alongside a team of exceptional developers to deliver world-class software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Application Development: Create, test, and maintain web and mobile applications using front-end technologies.
  2. Project Collaboration: Contribute to project specification and requirement gathering phases.
  3. UI/UX Design: Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs.
  4. Component Development: Build reusable components for future use.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and run unit tests prior to release.
  6. Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with back-end developers on integration and usability of the application.
  7. Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile Scrum Squads using Jira.
Requirements
  1. Software Development Knowledge: Strong knowledge of software development with a focus on front-end technologies.
  2. Education and Experience: Gained knowledge through a degree in Computer Science, 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development, or a combination of both.
  3. Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, React or Angular, REST APIs, and HTML/CSS.
  4. Environment: Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
  5. Travel: Willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA.

Location

This role will require you to work in our office located in Cambridge, ON, up to 2 days a week. More than an hour away from the office location? Apply anyway, and we can talk through your options.
