This full-time position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and involves occasional travel between 2-3 facilities within Ontario to support recruitment and HR functions.

Job Description

This role entails facilitating administrative functions in the HR department and the Health & Safety Management System. Key responsibilities include:

  • Full-cycle recruiting for various locations and departments
  • Aiding in the onboarding of new employees
  • Maintaining up-to-date health and safety records and training files
  • Assisting with Workers' Compensation Board (WSIB) and Short-Term Disability (STD) claims as needed

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Pursuing an HR designation is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to other work locations as required
