Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation logistics department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain high-performing teams by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources, including equipment, personnel, and budget.
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive process improvements.


Requirements:

* 2-4 years of experience in a related field, preferably in transportation logistics or supply chain management.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management software.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
* Regular, predictable attendance required.
* Willingness to travel as necessary.
