At Ledcor, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Squamish, BC. As a key member of our LNG construction project, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy mobile equipment.

As a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and conducting pre-trip and walk-around safety inspections. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with our team members.

Requirements for this role include 3+ years of previous experience in heavy civil or earthworks projects, Journeyperson certification from a recognized training authority, and a demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision. You must also successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing and have a valid Driver's License with a clear 3-year driver's abstract.

Our team is committed to safety, quality, and efficiency standards, and you will be expected to adhere to these principles in your work. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a 10-12 hour workday, 14 days on and 7 days off rotational shift, and onsite accommodation. Travel allowance and flights will be provided from approved locations, and we offer extended health benefits through CLAC.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment, and will be expected to maintain a high level of technical expertise. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with our team members and provide support to PM Mechanics and Maintenance technicians.
