As a Clinical Specialist at Medtronic, you will play a critical role in supporting the clinical development and education of our defined products and technology. You will manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs, while implementing policies and procedures and participating in all facets of clinical and operational decision-making.

A Day in the Life

• Conduct on-site education and consulting to ensure customers have the necessary knowledge to use our products effectively.
• Collaborate with field personnel to provide exceptional service and outcomes for our customers.
• Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute sales plans for one or more business units.
• Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness and drive sales.
• Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
• Identify and execute growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
• Serve as a technical resource to support sales of specific medical products or solutions.
• Report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) as required.
• Provide leadership and direction in clinical education activities, including assessment, curriculum planning, communications, and clinical skills development.
• Develop and execute clinical education programs to enhance user competencies.
• Cultivate close relationships with strategic business partners, including training centers and opinion leaders.
• Provide new employee training on products, technology, and materials.
• Assist in developing objectives and programs for marketing and selling our products.
• Provide nursing and/or medical expertise in development, implementation, and case reports, journal articles, and clinical reports from clinicians.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate educational workshops and other programs, events, and activities.
• Lead efforts to place speakers on podiums at key conferences.
• Work with other departments to establish priorities for company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction.
• Document all clinical support and education activities.
• Conduct monthly business reviews with RSM & SPM.
