Your Opportunity

Our Toronto office is seeking a skilled Banking Administrator to join the Business Restructuring and Turnaround Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all banking and accounting functions for corporate insolvency and restructuring estates
  • Liaising with internal staff and banking partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Performing cash receipt and disbursement functions, including daily deposits, wire receipts, postings, and documentation
  • Providing internal accounting and bookkeeping support, including monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries
  • Assisting with the preparation of dividend packages and mailings to debtors and creditors

Your Qualifications

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Prior insolvency experience and knowledge of Ascend are assets, but not required
