About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO with at least 2 years of post-training experience that includes hospital work to join our team as a Pediatric Hospitalist. The successful candidate will provide in-house 24/7 coverage for Whatcom County's only community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma).

The scope of care will include Pediatric Ward, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support.

As part of our expanding team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced, collegial, supportive, and focused physicians who prioritize high-quality, evidence-based medicine.

You will be working within a robust primary care team, ensuring strong continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient settings.

The approved FTE for this position is 0.8 or 0.9, which is equivalent to 139 or 156 12-hour shifts per year, respectively.

We are using EPIC EMR in our clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $225,841.00, based on a 0.9 FTE. In addition to your compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including:
