We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our Technology team at Rogers Communications, Inc. As a key member of our architecture strategy team, you will play a critical role in defining and driving the roadmap and target architecture for key BSS, OSS, HR, and ERP domains and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the current IT landscape, identifying critical deficiencies and building gap analysis to drive the technology roadmap.
  • Lead the identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends, providing technical leadership in vendor selection initiatives (RFI/RFQ/RFPs).
  • Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, product managers, and delivery teams to develop the technology roadmap.
  • Communicate the technology roadmap to stakeholders at different levels of the IT and business organizations.
  • Develop internal architectural standards and patterns, communicating them across solution architects, tech leads, and developers.
  • Lead architecture review boards and govern the implementation of architectural principles and practices.
  • Provide strategic technical direction across value streams and ARTs to ensure the organization can take advantage of emerging opportunities while responding to and mitigating threats.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of Solution or Enterprise Architecture experience in a large enterprise IT, preferably in telecommunications.
  • Strong understanding of Business Support Systems (BSS), including CRM, Order Management, HR, and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding and experience in Microservices architecture and cloud native solutions.
  • Strong understanding of common architecture frameworks and information models such as TM Forum Frameworx (Open API, TAM, eTOM, SID) or Zachman, TOGAF.
  • Strong decision-making, consensus building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both in person and written, with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • A keen and demonstrated interest in learning opportunities to further develop self and community.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and business environments.
