Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Lead to join our team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control functions, ensuring efficient operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts and audits
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external departments
  • Serve as primary client contact for inventory control, overseeing budget and quality accuracy
  • Accountable for Inventory Control, Customer Service, Receiving and Auditing teams
  • Implement leadership and performance management strategies to drive team engagement and operational excellence
  • Monitor retail claims and support client relationships for Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart stores
  • Foster continuous improvements through site metrics and behavioral feedback
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of distribution inventory experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows
  • Strong inventory, accounting, and financial skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude that sets an example for others
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and be able to set priorities effectively

What We Offer

We are offering a competitive salary range of $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, depending on experience and location. A candidate's experience and knowledge, as well as the geographical region in which the position is located, may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
