Design Visionary for Omni/Shopper Team

The Kitchen North America is seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Director to lead the creative vision for shopper marketing campaigns that thrive in both traditional retail and digital environments.

We are looking for a seasoned design professional with 10+ years of experience in design direction for shopper marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of shopper marketing, including the consumer journey, path to purchase, and shopper best practices.

This role requires a creative leader who can develop and execute visually stunning and cohesive designs that resonate with consumers and elevate our brands. As a Senior Design Director, you will work closely with a team of designers, creatives, and strategists to ensure that every piece of creative work is executed at the highest level.

You will be responsible for generating compelling ideas that drive consumer engagement across various platforms, from in-store displays to digital touchpoints. Your expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and AI tools (MidJourney, Dall-E, Adobe Firefly) will be essential in bringing these ideas to life.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the creative vision is consistent and effective across all channels. Your ability to mentor and inspire Art Directors and Designers will also be crucial in fostering a strong and cohesive design team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: Develop and lead the visual and creative direction for shopper marketing campaigns.
  • Concept Development: Generate compelling ideas that drive consumer engagement.
  • Presentation and Storytelling: Present campaign ideas and visual direction to the internal team and clients.
  • Design Direction: Work on set to bring campaigns to life visually.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Art Directors and Designers.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the design process to ensure high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in design direction for shopper marketing.
  • Education: College or University diploma in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or a related field.
  • Portfolio: A standout portfolio showcasing a wide range of work, including shopper marketing, art direction, omni campaigns, branding, and digital design.
  • Skills: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and AI tools.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading creative teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
