Payroll Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing of payroll changes, resolving issues, and ensuring the accuracy of records.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and raises
- Resolve payroll-related issues and answer questions from employees and management
- Help create and implement systems for processing payroll account transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments
- Supervise and coach payroll coordinators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits to ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with Human Resources and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes
- Create reports and ensure the accuracy of records to meet regulatory requirements
- PC or CPM certification is an asset
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes in Canada and the USA
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar role is an asset
- Able to work with a variety of payroll applications
- 4+ years of total payroll experience
