Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including bread, rolls, and sweet treats
  • Requisition and order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake and decorate cakes and pastries to a high standard
  • Train and supervise bakery staff to ensure high-quality products
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Operate bakery equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Prepare special orders and ensure timely delivery of products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-6 months of experience in a bakery or food production environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Working Conditions:
  • Work setting: Bakery or coffee shop
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Language: English
