Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at InLife Independent Living Ltd. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with domestic duties to clients with varying levels of support needs.
- Support clients with physical disabilities, including transfers and use of equipment, and confidence in hoisting.
- Assist with bowel care and catheter care, as required.
- Work with children and individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other complex needs.
- Collaborate with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals, to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Hold a full driver's license and be willing to provide transport in your own vehicle, with reimbursement for costs.
- Experience working in disability support, preferably with a focus on active nights and personal care.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with some short shifts and sleepovers.
- Commitment to ongoing shifts and a willingness to work with a care team approach.
- Full driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
