We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team at The Anndore House in Toronto. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy a comfortable stay.

Located in the heart of Toronto, The Anndore House is a vibrant gathering spot that combines modern style with quirky charm. Our goal is to provide a welcoming space for guests to connect with locals and experience the best of the neighborhood.

Job Summary

We're offering an attractive salary of $45,000 per year, based on industry standards for a similar position in Toronto. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits and perks that support your well-being and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning designated areas, including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms;
  • Performing tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and shampooing carpets;
  • Greeting guests in a friendly manner;
  • Reporting maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair;
  • Stocking and maintaining supply rooms as needed;
  • Assisting room attendants by removing dirty linen and garbage from their carts;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • No prior housekeeping experience is required, but it's definitely an asset;
  • You should be physically able to stand, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds;
  • You'll need to be able to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over sloping and uneven surfaces;
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
