About the Role

The Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager plays a vital role in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction in the Commercial Bank.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial banking clients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to drive revenue growth. Your expertise in relationship management, credit analysis, and sales planning will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the development and profitable growth of the commercial banking portfolio in an assigned market area by leveraging your knowledge of local market conditions and economic trends.
  • Build and maintain a robust network of internal and external contacts to identify potential business opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Manage an assigned credit portfolio for authorizations up to $5MM at an acceptable level of risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize business development opportunities for sustainable growth, focusing on prospects and existing customers.
  • Analyze prospect lists and prioritize business development opportunities based on market data and customer analytics to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refer customers and prospects to the appropriate Commercial Banking segment and partners as needed.
  • Plan and execute relationship activities that generate sales opportunities and/or provide value to clients, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain awareness of local market and general economic conditions to inform business decisions and adapt to changing market dynamics.
