Store Team Lead and Customer Experience Manager

At Kawartha Dairy, we're on the hunt for a results-driven Store Team Lead and Customer Experience Manager to oversee our retail stores. As part of our dynamic team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive store environment.

- Carry out business operations as Store Manager during extended absences, ensuring seamless continuity
- Lead by example in providing outstanding customer experiences, incorporating Pride systems and routines into daily operations
- Scoop ice cream, make milkshakes, and assist customers with purchases
- Educate customers about products and support crew members in their tasks
- Deliver feedback and coaching to team members, promoting a positive and engaging team atmosphere
- Respond promptly to customer complaints, taking action to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction
- Meet sales targets and achieve profitability by controlling labor, supplies, inventory, and other costs
- Oversee day-to-day operations, delegating effectively to meet deadlines
- Closely collaborate with the Store Manager to develop store-specific strategies and implement them
- Maintain and improve procedures and personnel practices to manage store inventory
- Analyze inventory variances and implement improvements
- Assist the Store Manager in establishing and maintaining work schedules for variance management
- Hire, schedule, and train staff in exceptional customer service
- Develop and supervise staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer service
- Supervise staff in proper product preparation and handling
- Administer payroll documentation
- Maintain safe and sanitary conditions for staff and customers
- Retain knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Provide information and record documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely inventory control and ordering systems
- Monitor cash management and ensure daily bank deposits
- Maintain required schedules and procedures for equipment inspection and monitoring
- 2-3 years' experience in a team lead role in retail, sales, restaurant, or customer service
- A wonderful smile and great attitude working with a team
- Positive, friendly, and social interactions with customers and team members
- Maturity, reliability, strong communication skills, and a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, federal holidays, and civic holidays for effective oversight and staff communication
