Event Manager

The Manager, Events & Catering is responsible for the management of events and catering logistics, ensuring successful planning and execution of events within the Conference Centre and Premium Dining Program.
This role involves supervising a team of events and catering specialists, conference centre operations, and concierge associates to ensure exceptional guest service experience meets or exceeds the standards set by the Company and Clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize excellent customer service and hospitality above all else.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the planning and execution of high-quality meetings, conferences, and events
- Collaborating with internal partners on the entire lifecycle of conferences and signature events
- Inspiring, motivating, and engaging staff to prioritize excellent customer service and hospitality
- Conducting regular assessments of the business needs and guest services to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the Events and Catering program
- Overseeing the execution of events planned by the team, monitoring event timelines, logistics, food & beverage to ensure efficient and effective operations
The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of liquor license requirements and laws, as well as exceptional thoughtfulness and diplomacy to cultivate relationships with various stakeholders in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
