Healthteam Holdings is seeking a Medical Professional Leader to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our pharmacy department.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management, with experience in supervising and coordinating the activities of pharmacists, technicians, and other staff members. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medication profiles, managing stock levels, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including supervising and coordinating the activities of pharmacists, technicians, and other staff members.
  • Maintain accurate medication profiles, manage stock levels, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Current certification from the Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Immunization records and criminal record check required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
