Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Swiss Chalet. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to Swiss Chalet's high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
