VCA Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Veterinary Technologist Assistant, Client Care Coordinator to join our team in Calgary, AB.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized and motivated individual to support our veterinary staff and create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents.
- Assist with various tasks and treatments, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining cleanliness of reception areas, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
- Demonstrate compassion and nurturing attitude towards pets and their owners.
- Remain calm in stressful situations, adapting to changing circumstances.
- Efficiently complete tasks independently and take initiative to address needs throughout the day.
- Possess strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and maintain accurate records.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, track appointments, and manage schedules effectively.
- Place outbound calls for follow-up and future appointment bookings.
- Respond to email correspondence from clients, veterinarians, and internal messages.
- Admit and discharge pet patients, ensuring seamless communication with owners.
- Invoice/bill clients, process payments, and create estimates as needed.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment for all clients.
- Liaise with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operation of hospital services.
