Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Champion - Energy Efficiency Specialist to champion an environmentally sensitive culture at our organization. This includes developing and implementing initiatives related to energy efficiency, utility cost management, GHG emissions mitigation, and overall environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will deliver energy management through the development and execution of projects as well as programs promoting sustainability, conservation, and behavior change strategies across UHN.

Duties
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce GHG emissions and lower utility costs;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship;
  • Design and implement behavior change strategies to reduce energy consumption and waste;
  • Conduct energy audits and assess the feasibility of energy-saving initiatives;
  • Implement and maintain energy management systems to track and analyze energy usage;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or a related field;
  • Proven track record of delivering energy-saving initiatives and reducing GHG emissions;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum depending on experience;
