Executive Compensation Analyst

As part of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence, the Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the administration and management of Nutrien's incentive program. This role may interface with various stakeholders outside of the team, including HRBPs, HR Shared Service Center, Finance, business leaders, and third-party consultants and data providers.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and forecast the cost of current and potential compensation programs; identify cost drivers and perform variance analysis related to performance management
• Partner with the HRBP team regarding Executive compensation, Nutrien Performance Incentive program, and employee master data management
• Support the broader Compensation team through the annual compensation cycle; including variable pay process
• Prepare quarterly Board materials and the annual proxy circular
• Participate in the design, development, implementation, and communication of Nutrien's Performance Incentive program
• Effectively communicate information regarding Nutrien's Performance Incentive compensation program and processes across the business through transparent discussion and effective listening
• Participate in executive market survey submissions
• Ensure compensation programs align with business objectives and comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Participate in other compensation projects as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or Finance-related roles
• Intermediate Excel skillset analyzing large data sets, knowledge of Power Query will be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced, and reporting deadline environment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Curious mindset that resolves complex compensation challenges through analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We are an equal-opportunity employer offering competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
