Cook Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook Specialist to join our team at IOS Greek Donair. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and possess excellent culinary skills.
About the RoleThis permanent position offers an estimated salary range of $35,000 to $50,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work approximately 35-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health and dental coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working in a restaurant environment
The following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience working with patients with special dietary needs
- Participation in a government or community program that supports persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, or visible minorities
