System Design and Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Design and Field Service Engineer to join our team at Avari Wireless, a global leader in providing public safety, in-building wireless communication solutions.

Avari designs and manufactures innovative Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement Systems (ERCES), enabling emergency responders to communicate indoors during emergencies. Our cutting-edge DAS solutions provide reliable, high-performance coverage in facilities worldwide.

About the Role:
  • As a member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for our clients.
  • You will analyze and resolve customer problems, escalate when necessary, and ensure seamless system operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement indoor DAS systems using iBwave design tools.
  • Conduct site surveys, installations, upgrades, and commissioning, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including maintenance visits and troubleshooting.
  • Document system configurations and changes, ensuring accurate records for future reference.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in RF equipment installation, servicing, and maintenance, with a focus on DAS.
  • Expertise in RF propagation design, planning, and implementation, as well as telecommunication technologies like GSM, WCDMA, LTE, VHF, UHF, and P25 radio.
