Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AML Platform Engineer to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our Financial Crimes Risk Management group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our US Customer Risk Rating (CRR) & Transaction Monitoring (TM) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Oracle vendor relationship for US development and enhance in-house development capability on Oracle products.
  2. Provide solutioning and design guidance on changes in the Oracle Financial Crimes & Compliance management application and related areas.
  3. Build and manage a large, diverse technology development team in North America and Asia.
  4. Work with the AML business to identify opportunities for delivering OFSAA product optimizations and behavior detection scenario customizations.
  5. Lead the technology aspects of threshold tuning and optimizations for behavior detection scenarios and customer risk scoring models.
  6. Drive product data model requirements discussions and own the design for Source to Target mapping / data dictionaries to ingest data into AML platforms from Line of business source systems.
  7. Support regulatory engagements / exams as needed from a technology perspective.
  8. Support defect prioritization and resolution.
  9. Contribute to the strategy and long-term planning activities for Financial Crimes Risk Management.
  10. Accountable for providing technology estimates for Oracle design/development efforts in alignment with the Estimation Framework.
  11. Provide expertise in Oracle environment management, release management, end-to-end testing.
  12. Responsible to manage technology third-party vendors and SOWs with a focus on performance, quality and cost management.
  13. Responsible for identifying potential interdependencies/ risks/collision points and managing prioritization of GAML technology activities.

  • Strong technical skills in Oracle and AML platform development.
  • Experience in managing large technology development teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
