Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Assistant

At Dynacare, we're committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to Canadians. We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our Cytology team in Brampton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare samples and reagents for routine processing
  • Perform simple non-interpretive tests under the technical oversight of a Senior Clinical Laboratory Assistant or Medical Laboratory Technologist
  • Ensure quality control checks and standards are run as required
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and adhere to company and Ministry of Health guidelines
  • Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or graduate of an approved laboratory assistant course
  • Excellent data entry skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team-centered environment
