Job Title: Snowplough Operator - Highway Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Snowplough Operator to join our team at Emcon Services Inc. as a Highway Snowplough Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various vehicles and equipment, including snowploughs, to maintain safe and efficient highway conditions during winter months.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate snowploughs and other equipment to clear snow and ice from highways
  • Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment as required
  • Report any malfunctions to the supervisor
  • Work in a team environment to ensure safe and efficient highway maintenance

Requirements:

  • AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
