Parts Inventory Manager

Job Summary:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 depending on skills and experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of parts and materials through our facility, ensuring that our technicians have the necessary tools and components to provide top-notch service for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure parts availability to support daily operations;
- Order, receive, and track parts and supplies, maintaining accurate records;
- Coordinate with suppliers to establish proper delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies;
- Support technicians with parts sourcing and provide expert knowledge on parts applications;
- Assist in maintaining an organized parts room, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards;
- Monitor inventory depletion and forecast upcoming parts needs;
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and audit procedures to ensure accuracy;
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries related to parts and services;
- Collaborate with the Estimators to manage part orders based on repair plans;
- Assist with training new staff on parts management systems and processes;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset;
- Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology, with a strong attention to detail;
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Effective communication skills with a strong customer service focus;
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment;
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to parts management is an asset;
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years;
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
