Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouseperson to join our team at Timberjack Building Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Ship orders and pick orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Make labels and attach them to goods, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Wrap goods, pack and unpack them, and sort, crate, and stack them as needed
  • Install, lash, and secure goods, ensuring safe and secure storage
  • Store cargo and materials, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, conducting regular audits and reporting any discrepancies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a warehouse or material handling environment is an asset
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (over 45 kg/100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
