  • The cabinetmaker will be responsible for operating various woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • The candidate must be able to shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
  • The cabinetmaker will also be responsible for studying plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, trimming joints, and fitting parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Requirements
