Benefits Director

Job Summary:
The Benefits Director is responsible for overseeing and administering all employee benefits programs for Tony's Fresh Market, including retirement programs, medical, dental, and vision programs, supplemental insurance programs, and healthcare savings accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer all employee benefits programs
- Install approved new plans and changes
- Oversee annual benefits open enrollments
- Attend insurance plan meetings
- Resource for employees regarding benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with ACA and HIPAA regulations
- Lead payroll deduction audits
- Maintain current knowledge of leave and accommodation laws
- Manage FMLA leave administration process
- Participate in merger and acquisition due diligence
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in benefits administration
- Knowledge of benefits administration, ACA compliance, and HIPAA regulations
- Bilingual/bi-literate English/Spanish
- Problem resolution skills and ability to respond to leave and health insurance related questions
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ADP
Work Environment:
The work environment is typical of an office setting, requiring the ability to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. The employee must have vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
