Job Title: Professional Line Cook at Arigato Sushi Japanese Restaurant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Arigato Sushi Japanese Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work effectively with a team to prepare high-quality dishes for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for menu preparation and presentation
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure effective team performance
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Line Cook or in a related role
- Permanent employment with a reputable restaurant or food service provider
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Language of Work: English
