Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team at Nationwide Furniture Mattress Outlet. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

About the Role
  • As a Sales Associate, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, answering their queries, and resolving any issues they may have.
  • You will be required to work as part of a team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with colleagues and management to achieve goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have an enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display of products, ensuring that the store looks appealing and attractive to customers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college education an asset.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
