As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in accelerating our transformation into a cloud-native application. Our team is passionate about building and fostering an inclusive environment where our teams feel valued and enabled to do their best work.

In this role, you will work closely with our Project Manager to understand priority deliverables and collaborate with product owners to define technical requirements. You will also provide feedback into the backlog grooming process and develop technical architecture documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Working with Scrum teams to ensure provided deliverables are achieved to architecture and required designs
* Providing leadership and direction in technical situations to ensure security and quality are at the forefront
* Developing tactical technical requirements that are unambiguous
* Ensuring high-quality agile processes are continuously followed as a culture

Requirements include:

* 5+ years of experience as a software architect
* 5+ years of working in an agile-based software development environment
* Experience with issue and bug tracking products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Passion for architecting technical solutions

Benefits include:

* Work onsite in Saint John, Canada up to 3 days a week
* Normal 37.5 hour work week
* Temporary Contractor role for 1 year
