33 Vastu Construction Ltd is a dynamic construction company that values quality and teamwork. We are seeking skilled tradespersons to join our team for residential construction projects.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have experience in carpentry, concrete forms, and related tasks. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including support for newcomers and refugees, youths, and veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs according to building codes using measuring tools;
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, substitutes, steel, and other materials;
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems;
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware;
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions;
- Moving tools, equipment, and materials around the work site.
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry and concrete forms, or equivalent experience;
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic;
- Ability to work outdoors in noisy environments and physically demanding conditions;
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting required;
- Working with minimal supervision and being a team player.
- We offer a competitive salary ($60,000 - $80,000 per year);
