Claims Support Associate

We are seeking a Claims Support Associate to join our Claims Operations team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and front-line quality customer service in the settlement of insurance claims.
Job SummaryThis role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple priorities and responsibilities. You will work closely with our claims adjusters and other stakeholders to ensure seamless claim processing and resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage file storage and retrieval process for closed files.
- Provide various administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, etc.
- Open new claims and assign appropriate claims adjusters.
- Process, coordinate, sort and distribute incoming correspondence.
- Identify process improvements to management.
- Collaborate with various COE's and Finance.
- High School or College Diploma including business/administration training or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Ability to consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed.
- Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Strong computer skills of with standard office applications including strong data entry skills.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
