About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Manager to join our team at BBS Construction Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will oversee the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in painting and construction, with experience in supervising workers and coordinating project activities. You will be responsible for preparing reports, estimating costs, and recommending personnel actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of painters and other site staff to ensure project completion meets quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows.
  • Estimate material and labor costs for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate site activities, including scheduling, training, and recruitment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a relevant field an asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a painter or in a related construction role, with a proven track record of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
