Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Security Officer to work graveyard shifts at a high-profile RCMP building in Surrey. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for performing interior and exterior patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, and writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises
  • Monitor CCTV cameras to detect and respond to any security breaches
  • Control access to the premises and ensure that only authorized personnel are granted access
  • Write clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
  • Enforce and maintain site security procedures
  • Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts
  • Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner
  • Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards

Requirements

  • Valid BC Security Licence
  • Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
  • Valid OFA 1 or willing to obtain
