The company seeks a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical engineering activities on innovative projects, particularly those involving the MOE process.

This role plays a pivotal part in guaranteeing high-quality deliverables, driving project success, and fostering collaboration between disciplines.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for overseeing engineering deliverables, participating in critical decision-making processes, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve electrical engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project specifications, standards, and quality expectations.
  • Validate the integration of electrical engineering works with other disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination and project alignment.
  • Participate in project decision-making processes, providing expert technical input and supporting the development of innovative solutions.
  • Report on electrical engineering activities, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular engineering progress reports, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical standards and procedures to enhance project efficiency and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all phases of electrical engineering activities.
  • Support the project team during HAZOP, constructability reviews, and other key technical workshops.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems in industrial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from conceptual design to execution.
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools and software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar.
