About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Paul Gupta & Associates. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment is essential.
