We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at Northern Health Authority in Quesnel, BC.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered Social Worker to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families throughout the continuum of care.
As a Social Worker at Northern Health Authority, you will provide direct psychosocial care, education, navigation and advocacy to maintain or improve the health and social well-being and functioning of patients/clients/residents and their families in the Quesnel Health Services Delivery Area.
What You'll Do- Provide comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide direct psychosocial care, education, navigation and advocacy
- Collaborate with patients, families, professional colleagues, and representatives of community agencies to advocate effectively on behalf of patients and families
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university and current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers. A minimum of two years recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with medically complex clients with concurrent disorders, or a combination of education, training and experience is also required.
CompensationThe estimated salary range for this position is $83,000-$110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefit packages including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees are also available.
