Drywall Installation Job Description

At Progressive Drywall Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying work sites and locations. The ability to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and in noisy environments is essential.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
