About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing communications and marketing materials to support the university's strategic goals. This may include creating social media content, blog posts, and other promotional materials that showcase the university's academic programs, research initiatives, and community engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing and communications;
  • Develop and implement creative content strategies that engage the intended audience and align with the university's brand and messaging;
  • Write and edit high-quality content for various channels, including social media, websites, and print materials;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across all marketing efforts;
  • Use digital tools and software to create, publish, and track content performance;
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input on campaign ideas and strategies;


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field;
  • Previous experience in marketing or communications, preferably in an educational setting;
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems;
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks and projects;
