Data Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Data Manager to oversee the data and reporting functions for a Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation at Conspicuous.

The selected candidate will manage a third-party vendor responsible for data processes while coordinating with internal resources and collaborating closely with a Systems Integrator (SI) and Change Management Partner. This hybrid position requires 2 days of onsite work in Toronto per week, covering a contract period of 12 months.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing all data-related activities for the D365 implementation, encompassing reporting.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the work of third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure successful data migration and management.
  • Collaborating with the SI and Change Management Partner to guarantee seamless integration and transition.
  • Ensuring compliance with data governance and management best practices.
  • Understanding and managing Master Data and its components, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the project.
  • Monitoring project timelines and milestones to ensure all data-related deliverables are met.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders on the progress and quality of data initiatives.

In terms of requirements, we are looking for someone with:

  • A strong understanding of Master Data Management and data migration processes.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and internal teams on data-focused projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a hybrid setup with availability to be onsite 2 days a week.
