About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our team at BrightPath Kids Matheson Centre in Ontario. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to build your career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Centre Director in managing the overall operation of the centre, including staff recruitment and development, policy management, child safety, environmental health and hygiene, and province licensing.
  • Ensure all staff members understand their objectives and expectations within each classroom.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
  • Understand and enforce all province regulations within the building.
  • Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members.
  • Provide effective communication with families about their child.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations.
  • Meet province requirements for childcare employment.
  • Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per local Ministry of Health Requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate.

Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
