Job Title: Condominium Property Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Properties: Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards, conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
  • Leadership: Provide management and leadership to properties within assigned region and book of business.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Regional Director to develop goals and communicate established goals.
  • Problem Solving: Ensure goals of the company and its clients are consistently met, manage the functions of a team in different properties while maintaining standards of excellence for processes, methods and personnel.
  • Quality Control: Manage the process improvement and quality control of property management functions to maximize productivity and ensure quality service is delivered.
  • Communication: Provide leadership and direction, assist in the investigation and resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain a positive relationship with Board of Directors, and internal departments.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections regularly, identify deficiencies and provide recommendations and action plans in order to improve the property.
  • Employee Relations: Maintain harmonious employee/employer relations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain awareness of changes in rules, statutes or regulations and communicate changes to staff.
  • Training: Direct training of staff when new procedures are required to comply with changes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Hold a General License in good standing, Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Designations: RCM or other recognized property management designation.
  • Experience: An experienced Condominium Manager with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
  • Skills: Working knowledge and experience in financial accounting in commercial real estate, financial reporting, and budgeting is necessary. Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management is an asset.
