Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Assistant Superintendent of Learning to join our senior leadership team at Yellowknife Catholic Schools. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational direction of our district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement observable impact planning in alignment with our district priorities of Inspiring Thinking, Cultivating Well-Being, and Building Relationships through the lens of our Catholic faith.
  • Lead the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional programs that meet the needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to provide support and guidance in the areas of teaching and learning.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the district's professional development program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to support the district's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in an educational field.
  • Minimum of five years experience as a school principal or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in the use of data for school improvement.
  • Knowledge of the British Columbia curriculum would be an asset.
  • Experience in building relationships with Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities.
