Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Laxmi Convenience and Grocery Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure seamless store operations and maximize sales potential.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, train, and develop new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments and Manage Inventory: Oversee the processing of payments, manage inventory levels, and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient store operations.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of sales associates, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate team member performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve sales and customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook and other relevant software applications.
- Transportation and Travel Information: Public transportation is available, and a valid driver's license is an asset.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
